"Creative Europe" Platform

Platform co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union, with 15 European partners, is focused on the mobility of emerging artists to work in areas of social art (visual art, public art, community art, exhibitions, performances, documentary theater, online art, etc.) at research and implementation of new productions with artists and local communities.

This partnership project resulted in several Artistic Residencies and consequent exhibitions produced and presented in Guimarães. Ideias Emergentes proposes portuguese artists to work as resident artists in the partnering countries and receives artists to produce Artistic Residencies in Portugal.

It is responsible for welcoming the artists, produce and accompany them in their residency, to establish the connections with local entities, artists and communities for the completion of their residencies, and the curatorship and assembly of the resulting exhibitions and performances, design and communication of the event.
