Exhibition 500 years of the Foral of Maia

The Municipal Museum of Maia, previously ethnographic, was rethought and restructured into two components: one of a permanent nature and the other with a temporary character.

In order to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the Foral da Maia, a two-year museographic project was carried out (2019-2021) on the origin and foundation of the city and attribution of Foral rights to the lands of Maia, territory on the north of the city of Porto.
