Interpretation Center of the Sephardic Culture of Northeast Trás-os-Montes

The Interpretation Centre is a path to history marked by the presence of the Sephardic Jews in the territory of the northeast of Trás-os-Montes.

In this project for the Municipality of Bragança, in a remodeled building by the architects Eduardo Souto Moura and Joaquim Portela, the 3 floors exhibition space conception was designed from the analysis and interpretation of the content program provided by the Cátedra de Estudos Sefarditas «Alberto Benveniste» da Universidade de Lisboa and its development together with the team of “Ideias Emergentes”.

Ideias Emergentes was responsible for the
concept, production and execution of the exhibition contents: films and video, audio, multimedia, interactive systems, cartography and maps, scenography, the collection of iconographies and the edition of a bilingual publication (PT / EN).
